Hello there, here I am on board my vessel operating on the Brazilian offshore, Campos (Basin) Oil Field, to send you this time some pictures about peculiar misshapen (Incidents/Accidents).
Someone forgot to close the Port side valves on the FPSO!!!
No worries by the number of assisting ships all came straight up!!!
Unfortunately this case wasn’t a matter of valves but the result of an explosion that opened a big hole in the under water line that killed eleven people, the platform didn’t recover… capsized and now is laying on the sea bed at a depth of 1200m.

Estive a espreitar aqui o vosso blog..., parabéns, tudo o que se refere ao mar e aos navios é do maior interesse para mim.
Entretanto vi que é esperado esta tarde aí em Viana o ILHA AZUL, vindo de Ponta Delgada. Vai passar o Inverno aí? Ou é uma reparação?
